It was not the only pumpkin in the patch however. I random seed yielded two large pumpkins. The biggest probably weighed 30 lbs! It was so fun to watch them grow.
Cory carved both pumpkins. We saved a small bag of seed for next years pumpkin. This time we are going to plant it on purpose!
You can see that the pumpkin is bigger than Jack! The big pumpkin is Two Face. The little one is Jack. Jack's two top side teeth and bottom two teeth came in and so we carved the pumpkin accordingly.
We got so many comments our our pumpkins! We are so thankful for a random pumpkin seed that made our fall so fun!
My brother-in-law suggested that even if we weren't going to plant a garden this year that we should at least throw some pumpkin seeds in to the garden area. I thought it was a little ridiculous. Not any more!
